Tax Preparation

VITA tax preparation closes Radcliff location | Native Information

A location providing free tax preparation services is eliminating one of its locations and changing hours of operations for another.

The Green River Asset Building Coalition’s Volunteer Income Tax Assistance, or VITA, program announced it will no longer offer its tax services at Colvin Community Center in Radcliff because of illness and a volunteer shortage.

Services still are offered in Hardin County from 9:30 am to 4 pm Tuesdays and Wednesdays at Habitat for Humanity, 2816 Ring Road in Elizabethtown, until April 13.

The public assistance service also changed its hours of operation at the LaRue County Public Library.

Tax services now are offered from 5 to 7 pm Tuesdays through April 12 and by appointment only on Saturdays through April 9. To make an appointment for Saturday, call 270-296-1918.

The library is at 215 Lincoln Drive in Hodgenville.

The program offers tax preparation and filing services free for residents whose household income is less than $73,000.
