FRANKLIN, Ind. – With many Hoosiers still restricting contact with others, filing taxes can be a bigger problem than most years. The Johnson County Public Library (JCPL) runs a free program that covers who qualifies and what vendors a person can file their taxes with.
Nancy Tyree of the Indiana Department of the Treasury, Kate McNight of the Internal Revenue Service and Dave Macklin of Intuit’s Tax Time Allies will lead the program.
The free tax preparation service is scheduled for Wednesday, March 3 at 2:00 p.m. and is open to all Indiana residents. Individuals do not need to live in Johnson County or have a JCPL library card to participate. Here you can register.
