Tax Preparation

The AARP Basis presents free tax preparation in the neighborhood of Schaumburg

The community of Schaumburg will offer tax-aide services from the AARP Foundation from February 8 to April 9, 2021. This program offers free, individual tax preparation for low to middle income taxpayers.

Appointments are required and can be made by calling Senior Services at (847) 285-4597. Dates are first come, first served and are limited. Due to COVID-19, the program structure has changed compared to previous years. More information on our updated process will be posted as soon as your appointment is scheduled. Please note that we ask all building visitors to practice safe social distancing and wear masks.

AARP Foundation Tax-Aide is the largest volunteer-run tax aid program in the country. Volunteers are certified by the IRS.
