The AARP Basis presents free tax preparation in the neighborhood of Schaumburg

The community of Schaumburg offers tax advisory services from the AARP Foundation from February 8th to April 9th. This program offers free, individualized tax preparation for low to middle income taxpayers.

Appointments are required and can be made by calling Senior Services at (847) 285-4597. Dates are first come, first served and are limited.

Due to COVID-19, the program structure has changed compared to previous years. More information on the updated process will be posted as soon as your appointment is scheduled. All building visitors are asked to practice safe social distancing and wear masks.

AARP Foundation Tax-Aide is the largest volunteer-run tax aid program in the country. Volunteers are certified by the IRS.

The Schaumburg community serves more than 140,000 residents in the villages of Elk Grove, Hanover Park, Hoffman Estates, Rolling Meadows, Roselle, Schaumburg and Streamwood.
