Tax planning seminar in August on the Lewes Public Library

A no-obligation educational seminar will be offered to the public on Tuesday, August 10th, from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Lewes Public Library at 111 Adams Ave., Lewes, Delaware. The Tax Management course covers a variety of tax-related topics for those who are in or about to retire. We will cover required minimum payouts (RMDs), tax withholding, Medicare rewards, distribution planning, minimizing your lifelong tax liability, and other planning elements to help attendees make appropriate long-term tax planning. The instructor for the course is Certified Financial Planner, Robert Jeter, CFP, CRPC.

The Money School, the “signature program” of the Delaware Financial Literacy Institute, offers more than 650 free courses and events each year for finance and business creation across the state. Class topics range from simple budgeting and saving to investing and retirement planning – and everything in between! Hassle-free, no-sale courses are taught by volunteers from the nonprofit, finance, and government sectors.
