Wisconsin (WAOW) – Governor Tony Evers has signed a bill to reduce taxes.
The bill provides approximately $ 450 million in tax relief for businesses and $ 30 million in tax relief for low-income families.
According to the press release, the bill is adopting federal amendments to adjust state tax law.
“The past year has been challenging and relentless for so many, but since the beginning of this pandemic we have made a commitment to provide economic aid to those affected by the pandemic,” said Governor Evers. “We know businesses and families across Wisconsin need help now, so I’m proud that we can give people in our state $ 480 million in tax breaks.”
